Contour POV Cameras Back From Receivership



Contour POV cameras are under new ownership and the company is officially out of receivership. The company has done a complete financial overhaul and is going headfirst into plans for new products and technology. Contour says that they already have key retailers committing to products.

 The company plans to launch new cameras in coming months featuring one-touch locking record switch, laser alignment system, a 270-degree rotating lens, unsurpassed digital clarity and easy-to-use convenience.

Contour has already resumed selling its Contour+2 with wireless smartphone connectivity, the waterproof ROAM2 and a full range of accessories through it’s relaunched website,

“The aim is clear—we want to create a world class company to support this world class product,” said Danny Lysenko, CEO of Contour. “While recovering Contour’s position in the market, we’ll continue the long tradition of being at the forefront of innovation and bringing to market beautifully simple, yet ultimately professional cameras.”


For anyone who was left out in the cold when the company shut down, the new ownership and management group is urging consumers with warranty issues to contact Contour’s support team at, place ‘Warranty’ in the subject line and include an RMA number.
